Rajasthan Prepares for National Youth Festival 2025: Col Rajyavardhan Rathore

 

Rajasthan’s Minister for Youth Affairs, Col Rajyavardhan Rathore, shared key updates on the state’s enthusiastic participation in the upcoming National Youth Festival on January 12th, marking Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary.

Youth Competitions Across Rajasthan

To identify and nurture talent, a structured competition was held:

  1. District Level: Youth showcased their skills and ideas locally.
  2. Division Level: Winners advanced to represent their districts.
  3. State Level: Finalists were chosen to represent Rajasthan nationally.

Over 71 talented youths from Rajasthan have been selected to participate at the national level, making the state proud.

Five-Day Celebration of Youth and Ideas

The ongoing State-Level Youth Festival, a 5-day event, serves as a platform for:

  • Competitions: Engaging youth in diverse cultural and intellectual events.
  • Discussions with Experts: Renowned speakers and experts are addressing pressing national and global issues, encouraging meaningful dialogues.
  • Skill Development: Providing exposure to knowledge and skills essential for India’s growth.

Col Rathore’s Vision

“The Youth Festival is not just about competition but about empowering young minds. It’s an opportunity for the youth to express their ideas, hone their skills, and interact with leaders across fields,” Col Rathore said.

He emphasized that such initiatives align with PM Narendra Modi’s vision of empowering youth, turning them into catalysts for a self-reliant India.

Significance of January 12th

The festival coincides with National Youth Day, celebrating Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy and ideals. It reflects his vision of youth as the driving force of national progress.

                 About Col Rajyvardhan Rathore  Col Rajyavardhan Rathore is a Cabinet Minister from Rajasthan and a two time Member of Parliament from 2014 to 2019 and from 2019 to 2023 representing Jaipur Rural. He served in the Indian Army for 26 years, including in Jammu and Kashmir, where he participated in counter-terrorist operations.
